64-bit version of program Tower 6 brings significant improvements in capacity and speed which is not obtained by simple compiler change and trivial porting to 64-bit platform. Complete graphics subsystem is rewritten, a lot of parallelisms and optimizations invoked. Those were the reasons why upgrading from 32-bit to 64-bit is optional and not free.
